Sweet 13 how fun
Madi girl thought friends were coming over to go out to dinner, but Sweet & Sassy Limo was waiting for the girls with flip flops made by me and clip boards with a schedule, also gifts sacks with Ross gift cards (Madi's favorite store) I have taught her well.... First they went to get pedicures at sweet and sassy then the limo took girls to Ross of course to shop and then to Madi's choice for dinner, she picked Subway... WHAT, oh well her choice.. They're back home now and suppose to be getting ready for bed hmmmm. Ok this was a fun mom day love to make my kids so happy with smiles ear to ear can you imagine how our heavenly Father wants to bless us? I can only imagine and do everyday when I thank him for my beautiful family he has blessed me with.

Great Point Made!
You need to go down to the bottom of this blog and turn off push stop on the playlist so you can play this quick clip and hear the music, what a great point it makes, anything is possible for our children to overcome when brought up in a loving, caring, and nurishing home. Foster Care awareness this MONTH!!!!

Touch a Truck and we got to meet the Shockley Clan!
Aaron showing the paramedic where he needed a bandade.
How fun was Saturday, I got to meet Molly and Blake and all three of thier beautiful children what a treat very sweet family! We also had our sweet Ashlein with us for the weekend so that was a treat. Touch a Truck was a bit loud and very stimulating to the little ones so getting a good posed picture wasn't going to happen but we had fun and here are some good pics.

Mothers Day
Well it was very nice, but most of all I wanted to share with you this amazing poem, I'm sure some of your have heard it before but my sister gave me a coffee mug today with this on it and it was so special. The front says, " One person can make a difference" and the other side said "A man on the beach where thousands of starfish lay dying in the sun saw a girl tossing them into the sea, one by one. "Why bother?" he asked. " You won't make much of a difference." Tossing yet another starfish into the sea, the girl said, " I made a difference to that one." Wow just the fact that my sis thought of me and bought this for me was so sweet to me I will cherish this coffee canister thing I just think thats priceless! Thanks sis I Love you!

DHS Art show
I had the honor tonight of voluntering at he first anual Art show featuring childrens's art work with the theme, "What Does Family Mean to You". Was really neat getting to see all the different expressions of family in a childs eye put on papper. Guest speaker was Desmond Mason he talked to a group of foster children first and then spoke to the whole crowd. The Exhibit is at the City Arts Center until May 22.
Worms and Dirt
This is Aarons newest fascination, worms well he calls them his snakes, ew but all boy for sure! Our brand new deck and french doors right off of kitchen, it's amazing because Aaron loves to be outside all day the kid will stay outside until forced to come in now he can play his little heart off in the back yard and I can watch him or sit on the deck and type on the computer!
